spacious roombreakfast layout
the rooms were spacious! my classic double room even had a rooftop peacock, my son named him gerald. the breakfast layout was AMAZING!!! it was plentiful and well laid-out.
I thought the inside bar area needed an update. It was dark and old-fashioned.

The breakfast service was quite chaotic. There was a lack of clear direction from the staff on how it worked. dinner the previous evening had a long wait between courses, and the staff cited being busy as the reason. the buffet breakfast did not have much selection, and it did not provide value for money. i am not sure i will return.

wonderful hotel stay!

the breakfast was great (especially the pancakes!). the staff were very friendly and always happy to help with anything i needed. i also loved the spa facilities. They left me feeling completely refreshed.
The gym flooring could use a little attention. I noticed some rust on the weight training machines.

the hotel is situated right on the lake, offering easy access to boat trips. the aquarium and steam railway are also within easy reach. the views from the hotel grounds were amazing.

Our room had some issues. The curtains were falling because the rings were broken. I also noticed mugs were used at the hot drinks table. I expect better for the price.
